Good reasons for Ludwigshafen

Ludwigshafen am Rhein (approx. 171,000 inhabitants) is a "city on the river" located in the heart of the metropolitan area Rhine-Neckar, the dynamic, seventh largest economic and metropolitan area in Germany. Although it is separated from its sister city Mannheim (approx. 327,000 inhabitants) by the Rhine Bridge, it is connected historically and in terms of urban development.
The university campus is located in the Mundenheim district. Directly adjacent across the street begins the  recreational area "Große Blies" with green spaces and the lido.
Students of HWG Ludwigshafen can live in Mannheim at the water tower, ride their bikes to the university in the morning and spend the evening in Heidelberg's old town, which is only 15 km away - all just a stone's throw away. Our students not only benefit from the advantages of the practice-oriented HWG Ludwigshafen, i.e. (proximity to lecturers, small group sizes, interaction, etc., but can also take advantage of the benefits of the universities of Mannheim and Heidelberg. These include excellently equipped university libraries, extensive sports facilities, various language courses and cultural events.

The regional, economic location quality of the Rhine-Neckar region is very high. It is home to major corporate headquarters and thus potential employers, such as SAP, BASF, Mercedes-Benz-Werke, John-Deere-Werke, HeidelbergCement, Freudenberg, Roche or Bilfinger.
