Face-to-face study in the lecture hall: HR students back on campus

With the start of the 2022 summer semester in mid-March, bachelor's and master's students in human resources programs have returned to the university campus in large numbers. Lecture halls are open, and facilities such as the refectory and library are accessible. From the first semester of Bachelor's to the fourth semester of Master's, all study groups have a presence in the lecture hall throughout.

The typical student life is currently unfolding again on campus, both outdoors and in the buildings. Not everything is back to normal yet, but it feels pretty good for everyone.

After the first four weeks of the semester, students' reactions and impressions of the "reopening" of face-to-face study as a regular activity are extremely positive.

The majority of courses take place in small groups in the lecture halls, supplemented by digital formats such as parallel online streaming or purely digital courses in selected subjects.

For the upcoming winter semester 2022/23, prospective students can expect to have mostly face-to-face classes in their first semester, giving them the chance to make acquaintances and friends with fellow students on campus face-to-face - just like in the past.

In view of the good career prospects in the commercial fields of human resources and organization, the internationally oriented bachelor's degree in International Human Resources Management and Organization (IPO) offers a good entry-level opportunity. Due to the Corona pandemic, forms of work have changed, e.g. work  is becoming more digital and agile. This new "New Work" opens up opportunities for Human Resources Management in companies, public service and the non-profit sector.
