In the Semco Style Experience Game, students of the East Asia Institute experienced the change from a hierarchical to a self-organized company in a one-day interactive simulation.

They were able to slip into the roles of managers, employees and customers themselves and gained an understanding of the different actions and perspectives within an organization. They experienced how self-organization and democratization can help companies strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship, increase job satisfaction, and boost productivity.

Semco Style Institute helps organizations reduce bureaucracy and bring tangible results back into focus. The trainings are based on the methods and approaches of New Work pioneer Ricardo Semler. Semco Style is not a "static" method that you simply implement in an organization. Rather, it is a framework that is continuously expanded with methods and experiences from other companies dealing with New Work.
