Personal data
Personal data is collected in the "Incoming Student Survey" for the purpose of evaluating the results according to different groups of people. The personal data includes: Gender, age, educational background, nationality, migration background and degree programs.
What happens to the results of the survey?
Degree the survey phase, the survey data will be statistically analyzed. The results are only used in the context of your university's quality assurance and development as well as research and serve as important information for the subjects and Departments or the projects for further development and optimization. The evaluations are anonymous and do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.
How can I have my data checked or deleted?
If you require information about your stored data, you can contact the university's evaluation officer in writing or by e-mail (evaluation.hwg-lu@hwg-lu.de). The same applies to the correction, deletion or transfer of your data.
You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You can declare your revocation in writing or by e-mail. If you have already sent the answers to the survey, the answers to the survey can no longer be deleted or changed, as the survey is anonymous. If you do not wish to provide any personal data, you have the option of not completing the questionnaire.
The data is stored for at least 10 years, as it is intended to serve as a basis for comparison for future surveys. Every 10 years at the latest, the respective evaluation officer must check whether the stored data is still required for evaluation purposes.
Why was I invited to the interview?
Universities are required by law to involve students and graduates in quality assurance and development and to obtain feedback for this purpose. This is realized, among other things, through surveys or feedback interviews. The results of the quantitative surveys are only used in the context of quality development at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society and for research purposes.
