The Numerus Clausus of a degree programs is determined by the final grade of the qualification for university entrance of the last admitted applicant. The NC value of a degree program is therefore not already determined before an application phase, but results from the number of applicants and their prerequisites for studying (e.g. Abitur/Fachhhochschulreife grade point average, number of waiting semesters) depending on the available places in the degree program.

In view of the international orientation of the degree programs, a good knowledge of English is desired as part of the selection process for the degree program International Personnel Management and Organization (IPO).

Proof of English language skills is not required for the application, however, good English skills are indispensable both for the success of the study -   e.g. as a prerequisite for a semester abroad, as well as for professional life. Therefore, we also offer Business English with a focus on Business English in the 1st and 2nd semesters. At the end of the 2nd semester it is also possible to obtain an English certificate at level B2 with a focus on HR language skills.

"The basic education in economics is part of the tools of the trade of a good HR professional."

Mathematical and statistical methods are equally important basics for analyzing and interpreting business issues. For those who need a refresher in this area, we offer a pre-course in mathematics.
