IPO bachelor presented by "WISU - Das Wirtschaftsstudium" magazine

The well-known business magazine "WISU - Das Wirtschaftsstudium" presents in the issue 04/2019 under the title "Studienreport Personalmanagement: Erfolgsfaktor Mensch" particularly relevant business study programs in the field of human resources management.  The Ludwigshafen human resources bachelor's degree program IPO (International Personnel Management and Organization)  is one of these degree programs selected and recommended by the  traditional WISU business magazine for study, education and training. The traditionally good reputation of Ludwigshafen in terms of personnel studies is thus once again underlined.

The magazine praises in particular the international dimension of the Ludwigshafen program. In the 5th semester there is an integrated "foreign window" for a university or practical semester abroad. The university has a broad network of partner universities in Europe and overseas.

IPO is a business administration degree program in which students who already know exactly that they want to study and work in the fields of human resources and organization feel particularly at home.

New for the upcoming winter semester is that the academic degree will be changed to a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.). Students will now learn more about topics such as digitalization, people analytics and empirical social research methodology.

The Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society has been offering a business degree in human resources and organization since 1965. This makes the human resources study area one of the oldest and most traditional study programs in Germany and has a correspondingly large and effective alumni network.

Around 320 students are currently enrolled in the IPO bachelor's degree and the consecutive master's degree in International Human Resources Management. The HRM department is thus also one of the largest academic education providers at state universities  in southern Germany. The size of the HRM Department with several relevant professorships offers students the opportunity to set their own focus within HRM.
