One week before the official start of lectures, the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society welcomes the new freshmen: On Monday, March 4, at 9.30 a.m., the first-year students of the summer semester 2024 will be welcomed in the Aula (A-Geb., ground floor) on the central campus at Ernst-Boehe-Straße 4. Here, the "first-year students" have the opportunity to find out about their future university away from the actual study activities, get to know the central campus, the service facilities and, last but not least, their first fellow students.

• from 09:00 a.m.: Admission
• 09:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.: Welcome event in the auditorium
• from 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Any questions? Staff from the departments, the Student Service Center and the Bafög Office, the Studierendenwerk and the student representatives will be available to answer your questions in the foyer in front of the auditorium (until approx. 12:00 noon)
• From 11.10 a.m.: Guided tours of the campus in Ernst-Boehe-Straße in small groups

The passwords for the individual OLAT courses will be given to you by the lecturers in the first course.

Prof. Dr. Walz (Faculty 3) is offering a workshop on the topic of success psychology on Thursday, 07.03.2024 from 13.00 - 16.45. I would like to cordially invite you to take advantage of this offer. The event will take place in C0.007 (Building C).

Dear students,

Error culture and error competence are not only relevant against the backdrop of ongoing transformation processes in companies such as digitalization; you can't avoid making the odd mistake during your studies either. However, this is not a bad thing per se, because mistakes and errors are unavoidable, but often necessary for the development of people and organizations.

The aim of the "Successful failure" workshop is to sensitize you to the advantages and possibilities of a healthy error culture and to jointly develop strategies for smart error management. We will show you which personal attitude and which action steps are helpful for dealing with (your own) mistakes in a creative and solution-oriented way. Because: mistakes are part of everyday (professional/student) life, and they happen to everyone!

In the workshop, the implementation of a far-sighted error culture will be tested using numerous practical exercises so that you can "fail(er) successfully" in the future.

First and second semester Master Innovation Management students as well as all other Master students are invited to the workshop on Tuesday, 12.03.2024 from 12:30 to 15:30 in room A103 (building A, 1st floor). This will also give you a great opportunity to get to know your fellow students better and exchange ideas. There will be snacks and drinks!
